I WAS shocked and upset to read about the poison pen letter that was sent to St Mary Magdalen School.
Myself, my husband and my children have nothing but praise, respect and admiration for all the teachers and staff at St Mary Magdalen School.
Four of our children have been taught at the school - one child still attends.
In 20 years of our family using this school, we have never come across any abuse whatsoever.
Indeed, not one of our children has ever complained about a teacher during their time in classes.
My child who still attends has a statement - or special needs - and wonderful support and encouragement she has received from all the teachers, and the special needs teacher in particular, has been second to none.
I would like to add to my letter that I cannot empathise enough - what a splendid and superb school St Mary Magdalen's Primary is.
All my four children would like to say a thank-you to the teachers for their excellent support and caring attitude.
