THE halls were alive with the sound of music when Millfield High School in Thornton recorded a 100 per cent pass rate in recent exams.
Twenty pupils, along with one from Royles Brook Primary, entered by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music exams on a variety of instruments.
Four talented musicians - Nikki Moncaster, Toni Moncaster, Natalie Lovatt and Alanna Cameron - gained distinctions while ten earned a merit and seven a pass.
