YOUNGSTERS have been striking the right note for their working futures by playing a part in the TUC conference.
Organisers of the conference, held at the Winter Gardens this week, asked the charity Music for Youth to get local schools involved.
As a result bands from St George's High School and Park School were invited to play to delegates in between meetings.
Playing a more hands-on role were youngsters from Highfield, Greenlands and Montgomery High Schools who were invited to an all-day workshop on Tuesday to discuss issues related to the world of work.
Activities included questioning a panel of delegates, observing main congress and reporting back all they had learned.
