A LANCASTER priest has been chosen to become the curate of a landmark London parish.
Rev Rosemary Priestley of St Paul's Church, Scotforth, is to take up her position at St Martins-in-the-Field in Trafalgar Square in November.
Her new duties will include being chaplain to a team of 20 full-time people and 100 volunteers at St Martin's which is famous for helping the capital's homeless.
Rosemary said: "People have been enormously supportive and really encouraged me."
