THE annual general meeting of the St Helens District Council for Voluntary Service will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at 2pm in the Banqueting Room, St Helens Town Hall.

Mayor of St Helens, Councillor David Craig will preside, escorted by his wife Betty.

Presentations will include the progress of the Community Opportunities Project based in Newton; information on the forthcoming voluntary sector audit; and an introduction to Jacquie Reilly, the recently-appointed Town Centre Manager in St Helens, who has kindly accepted an invitation to speak about her role.
