POLICE have issued descriptions of three thieves who sneaked into a pensioner's home and stole a television, video recorder and a quantity of jewellery.

The three, two men and a teenage girl, were spotted escaping from the house in Hazel Grove, Eccleston, around 6pm on Tuesday, September 8, after being disturbed. They were last seen walking up Thorn Road, Eccleston.

The teenage girl who was with the two men is described as white, 14-years-old, with long straight, red hair. She was wearing silver grey tracksuit bottoms, and bright red trainers with a white sole.

One of the men is described as 5ft 8in to 5ft 9in tall, slim build, 19-20 years, with a pale, gaunt complexion and black layered hair with a fringe. His appearance is described as untidy and he was wearing a beige jacket and jeans.

The second man is described as 5ft 6in tall, 17 to 18 years, medium build, with a fair complexion and sandy/red hair, which was shaved at the back and sides. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and a green sweatshirt.
