TYLDESLEY RU scored a thumping 34-15 win over Ormskirk.

They began in great style with Rob Harrop storming over for a try. But they should have had more points in the bag before Dave Sivill dropped a goal.

Indiscipline then let Tyldesley down as Ormskirk edged back with three penalties to take the interval lead.

It all changed again as Tyldesley produced 30 minutes of magnificent rugby in the second half, Sivill producing some magical ball handling.

Tries for Plimley plus wingers Brown and Mackintosh gave them a handsome lead.

Sivill capped a MoM show with a super solo try before Swanton ended the romp with a sixth TD.

Outstanding performances from Lee Berrisford, Craig Shotton and Andrew Broad.

Tyldesley 2nds lost 13-7 at Ormskirk (Graham Harrop converting his own try) and the Thirds lost 41-5 to a strong outfit.

LEIGH RU, with centres Lee and Lee in fine form, beat Altrincham Kersal 21-6.

Penalties from C Lee edged his side ahead before scrum-half Marsh seized on a loose ball to score, Lee improving.

Late on Fletcher scored in the corner to clinch victory.

Leigh U13s beat Winnington Park 10-5, tries from Thomas Andrews and Matthew Ashbrook.
