BLACKBURN Hawk's Canadian powerhouse Andrew Dickson is struggling to get off the ground in time for this weekend's English Cup double bill at Swindon tomorrow (face off 5.30pm) and at home to Oxford on Sunday (face off 6pm).
The aggressive forward crashed out of training this week with a flu bug and fears are he may not shake it off in time.
Twenty-eight year old Dickson has already bagged a hatful of goals this season, and his absence would count as a massive loss.
Player-coach Bobby Haig is also worrying over young gun Tim Dempsey, who twisted his leg last weekend and has been a regular on the treatment table all week.
Haig said: "They've both missed sessions this week, but we're fairly confident they're on the end. We'll have another look nearer the time."
Full preview in tomorrow's Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
