A FUND-RAISER at the Coronation Hotel, Horton-in-Craven, tomorrow will raise money for the children's cancer unit at St James's Hospital, Leeds.
The event starts at 9am and is called Operation Simba. It will feature police dogs, a falcon display, police horses, five-a-side football, line dancing and much more.
Organiser Andrew Ashcroft said he wanted to say a big thank-you to Read Caravans who stepped in at the last minute after they were let down by another caravan supplier.
Admission is £2 for adults, free for pensioners and under-11s. Car parking is also free but donations would be welcome.
Mr Ashcroft, from Barnoldswick, said he lost both his parents to cancer and was moved by the stories of Pendle girl India Farmer who is being treated at St James's.
