BLACKBURN Rovers fans enjoyed a special half-term treat yesterday when they watched their team being put through their paces at Ewood Park.

Manager Roy Hodgson and the team swapped their usual daily training session at the high-tech Brockhall complex to spend the morning in front of the crowd at the ground.

And after two hours' hard work and a quick wash and change, the players were only too happy to move into the Roverstore for an autograph signing session.

The Rock FM Thundertruck, an RAF display truck and big screen entertainment gave the one-off event a carnival atmosphere while younger fans enjoyed the chance to meet the new Rovers mascot, Roar the lion.
