A VILLAGE schoolmaster left a secret fortune to his friends and family.
Former headmaster Joseph Walker, 84, left almost £1 million to be shared out between 30 people. His secret wealth was amassed through selling stocks and shares.
Mr Walker and his wife Ethel both taught at Langho village school. Mr Walker became the headteacher at Baxenden before moving to St Paul's School in Bury.
