SPRAY can artists are transforming parts of the borough.
But this time legal graffiti is appearing on the boards around Platt Bridge Youth Zone.
Local artist Scott Winstanley, 24, is helping youngsters brighten up their communities and is currently working with the Pupil Support Team in Platt Bridge.
The zone is being renovated from a disused block of flats in the Ribble Road area.
And Graham Honeybone from the PST said: "The project is excellent. It's captured the imagination of young people and provided a talking point in the local community.
"Another benefit is the young people are using their new skills to contribute towards the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme they are all involved in."
And Scott says: "It's good that graffiti can finally be seen as something positive." NON
