FRENCH distribution company Norbert Dentressangle will relocate to its perfect new £2 million Leigh headquarters in August.
The company is moving from Salford Quays to a five acre plot on Leigh Business Park.
The site which includes expansion possibilities of a further one and a half acres, will see the consolidation of three UK divisions, Norbert Dentressangle Transport (Manchester), Volume (Heywood) and Tankers (Widnes) onto one fully integrated site with the UK HQ.
The new premises provide 800 sq metres of office space, 2000 sq metres of warehousing with a clear height of 9m and a storage capacity for over 3,000 pallets - with a future capacity of 9,000.
Outside there are three loading bays and a 60 truck parking bay.
The entire site is secured by 2.1m fencing and has complete CCTV coverage.
UK managing director, Petar Cvetkovic, said they had been looking to invest in a substantial warehousing operation in the north and Leigh was perfect.
