RELATE counselling is up and running in Leigh - but they need a helping hand!
Volunteer receptionists are desperately needed.
Counselling sessions are in Grasmere Street Health Centre every Tuesday evening.
Centre manager of RELATE in Bolton & Wigan, Christine Whittle, said: "We are very happy once again to be able to offer RELATE counselling to the people of Leigh.
"We have been absent from the town for too long and we know there are many individuals and couples who would really benefit from our services, but have been unable to make the journey to Wigan or Bolton.
"We do, however, need voluntary receptionists at Grasmere Street.
"Receptionists are very important to the work of RELATE, as without them the counselling would not be able to take place."
Anyone who could spare three hours on a Tuesday evening should contact Christine on 01204 528302.
Christine added: "Please don't think you have to help us every Tuesday. If you could help once a fortnight or even once a month, we would be very grateful."
