SUPER stud Jimmy threw a party for family, friends and a couple of his wives to celebrate his 21st birthday.

Star stallion Jimmy - or Fairlyn Gemini to give him his Sunday name - as British Anglo-Arab champion has sired hundreds of offspring.

"He's a perfect specimen and decided to celebrate by throwing a party for a few friends," says owner Nicky Nash who says she's "privileged" to have inherited Jimmy from Lorna Campbell-Smith.

"Half a dozen of his children and a couple of wives, Molly and Katie, joined him. He behaved like a perfect gentleman."

Jimmy tucked in to a birthday cake and received a nine carrots necklace from farrier Bernard Lindley, and had his teeth rasped by vet David Eccles.

He didn't drink too much - he still has two unopened bottles of champagne - although perhaps he perhaps ate too much tucking in to juicy apples and carrot treats off Nicky's daughter Amy.

After getting the key to his Glazebury stable door Jimmy was in top fettle the following morning and dreaming about his favourite partner, Doris.
