THE Citizen has teamed up with the new-look Toby Carvery at Lea to offer readers a once in a lifetime chance to say thank-you to the special person in their life.

Justin Whitehead, manager of the carvery in Blackpool Road is appealing for nominations for Toby Treasures. He said: "Toby Treasures are special local people who deserve to put their feet up and enjoy being pampered with a free meal for two at the Toby Carvery.

"Whether you want to nominate your mum or someone who does charity work in your local area or a special friend who makes your life that little bit brighter - the choice is yours!"

Those chosen will enjoy a special VIP night where they can celebrate the carvery's re-opening following a £1 million refurbishment programme.

Indulgence is definitely the order of the day at Toby. The chef will serve you generous helpings of succulent roasts accompanied by all the trimmings and as many fresh seasonal vegetables as you can eat. And if that doesn't fill you up, go back for as many helpings as you like, all for the great value price of £5.95.

Remember to leave room for one of Toby's mouthwatering puds, just like mum used to make, with favourites like apple and rhubarb crumble, sherry trifle and Toby toffy apple pie. Toby also offers two bar meals for just £6.50 every day except bank holidays.

To nominate someone as a Toby Treasure, describe in 50 words or less why they deserves a VIP treat, entries to: Toby Treasure, The Citizen, 3 Winckley Court, Winckley Square, Preston PR1 3JJ to arrive by June 25, and the best 10 entries will win a meal for two.
