The Birch Hall side, 14 points clear at the top of the table, are away to Netherfield on Saturday before they travel to Chorley on Sunday for their Vaux Samsom Bitter cup semi final clash.

The men from Birch Hall got home by two wickets in a tense finish to the early season league match.

Chorley aim to get their pursuit of Northern League honours back on course this weekend after two successive defeats which have left them trailing leaders Darwen by 28 points.

Tomorrow mid table Kendal are the visitors to Windsor Park. It is hoped paceman Iqbal Patel will be fit to open the attack again after being out for seven weeks with a broken thumb.
