BRIAN Tomlinson remains a point clear at the top of the Terry Sayers individual merit awards table following his seventh win that extended his aggregate of 42.

Mick Nelson from Frenchwood retains second place despite a 21-14 reverse, but his team-mate Peter Wilding moved up six places on the ladder following his latest 21-19 away victory.

Team captain Rob Taylor, along with Glyn Andrews, are now in contention with seven points each while Steve Edwards sadly lost a couple of places.

Witton pair Colin Campbell - who notched his sixth success of the season - and Mick Lee who also has six wins, are in nine and eight respectively.

Geoff Pugh who has eight points, one ahead of team-mate Keith Illingworth, lead the Bamber Bridge contingent.

After a poor start Keith Connor has had an excellent run to be on eight points.

Keith Connor, who is in his first year at Rose 'N Bowl, and Jim Lord, have both made major contributions to get on the leaderboard. Simon Haworth who won the player of the year award three years ago, leads the Sunnybank team with seven points, followed by his captain Jim O'Connor on six. Steve Crossley who notched his fourth successive victory from five starts, is one point ahead of Ken Topham on the Ighten Mount list of players.

Six consecutive wins have taken Dave Darley, now on eight points, to the top of the list for Lostock.
