A MAGNIFICENT performance by BJFF U12s saw them win the Euxton Villa six-a-side tournament for the second year running.
Twenty-eight teams entered and Bispham came second in their group to qualify for the quarter finals, only conceding two goals in the process.
The quarter final was a very physical game which ended 0-0 after extra time, so it went to penalties. Bispham scored all the kicks they took, but the opposition put two wide and had one saved. The semi-final was a bit easier and was won 2-0.
The final against St Gregorys of Chorley was another physical contest between two teams which had each played eight games already that day.
St Gregorys put in a great performance but Bispham proved to be the best team at the tournament yet again by winning 1-0 and taking home the trophy for the second year running.
