EMMA Dickinson has qualified for the British Arab Championships after coming up trumps in the North-west Arab Horse Show.
The 21-year-old, who lives in Mellor, came third in the Novice Ridden Mare category aboard Crystal Atlantis in the event staged at Osbaldeston Riding Centre.
And she will now compete in the British Championships at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire in September against national and international breeders.
"It's the first time I've entered something like this and I wasn't expecting to qualify," said Emma.
"My horse, Crystal Atlantis, is a juvenile delinquent because she doesn't know when to stop."
Meanwhile, Sarah Barnes, 19, who is also connected with Osbaldeston Riding Centre, has qualified for the Hickstead Showjumping Derby.
