Australian forward Phil Adamson continued to answer his critics with another improved display and was particularly adept at releasing the ball, while strong-running centres Warren Barrow and Alan Cross also shone.
Barrow's two tries took him to 14 for the season, while the others came from Cross (2), Brian Capewell (2), Steve Hall, Danny Pimblett, Mark McCulley and Adamson. McCulley kicked three conversions and Capewell one. Capewell also dropped a goal
