BILLINGE waltzed to an eight-wicket victory over Merseybus in a low-scoring West Lancashire League encounter.
John Dillon was in fine form, claiming 3-16 as the busmen were dimissed for 94. In reply Ste Smith hit 38 as Billinge coasted home on 99-2.
In other games Goodlass beat St Johns by one run. The Sunday Section saw Earlestown defeat Spring View.
Mike Antwoon claimed2-19 as the Wiganers were dismissed for 108.
In reply, Ian McCue's 51 helped Earlestown home on 112-7. Elsewhere, St Johns beat Joy Mining.
