SIX Swedish students have swept into Bury for a four-week cultural exchange and work experience visit.
They arrived on Sunday, June 13, and will stay with local families.
It is a chance for host families in Bury to repay hospitality shown to Bury College's Advanced GNVQ leisure and tourism course students who spent three weeks in Sweden in March.
The visit is part of an international exchange scheme financed by the European Social Fund.
The students, all aged between 17 and 19, will spend time on work placements with local businesses as well as joining in classes at Bury College.
It won't be all work and no play though as their itinerary allows them time to explore the North West with visits to Castlefield, the Albert Docks and Blackpool as well as a trip to Old Trafford for a tour of the stadium.
