AFTER last weekend's morale-boosting win at Doncaster, Lancashire Lynx will be hoping to complete their first double of the season when they travel to Headingley to take on Bramley.

Last weekend's game was a must win game for Lynx as defeat would have seen them drop to the bottom of the league.

And victory tomorrow would put them in touching distance of the clubs directly above them in the league.

Star of the show was once again stand off Neil Alexander, who ran in four tries for the second time as a Lynx player and he has now touched down 11 times in his last five games.

He has been rewarded with a contract until the end of next season. Ex-Salford winger Dave Ratcliffe made his debut last weekend along with Thatto Heath prop forward Martin Merton and both showed promise of better things.

Youngster Paul Roberts who was man of the match on his debut, will also sign a professional contract on his return from holiday. With players returning from injury, Steve Hampson can look forward to the luxury of having competition for places for the first time this season although Andy Bennett and Steve Gee are unlikely to figure again this season.

Ian Gildart will be missing for another three weeks whilst David Jones should be fit for next week's home game against York.

Bramley are one of the more inconsistent sides in the league and on their day they are capable of beating any team, especially at Headingley.

But as they showed last week they are also capable of going down to heavy defeats as Leigh showed with a 39-8 victory at Headingley, although their cause wasn't helped with the sending off of Anthony Gibbons for a deliberate high tackle.

They do however, have in their team ex-Great Britain captain Gary Schofield and his partnership with Mike Ford will no doubt cause the Lynx defence many problems.

Lynx will select from: Murray, Ratcliffe, Danny Jones, Abram, Parsley, Alexander, Flanagan, Norton, Donno, Prest, Solomon, Walsh, Hodgkinson, Shaun Geritas, Danny Geritas, Fisher, Merton, Guest, Campbell, Bisping. 3pm start.
