IS the letters page a forum for personal attacks on the individual? Thank goodness we live in a country with freedom of speech - provided it is not libellous. Anyone submitting a point of view is entitled to coverage - if it is good enough, topical or concerns local issues.
The attempted slur on my lifestyle by Keith Reynolds (Letters, August 27) was unwarranted. He states I spend my entire life writing letters to you.
For his information, I have lived a very full life, with my giving my views to the press occupying only a minuscule portion of it.
He must get his facts right before making comments of this nature.
