PRESTON included former Manchester Utd and Wolves midfielder Darren Ferguson in their ranks at Turf Moor last night as Burnley Reserves fought back well to claim a point.
There was a shock start for the Clarets when Preston scored in the first minute, Mark Wright latching on to a Paul McKenna pass to break through the middle.
Offside claims were ignored and he went on to beat keeper Craig Mawson.
Veteran Kelham O'Hanlon made several fine saves to deny the Clarets but Preston's goalkeeping coach could do nothing about Brad Maylett's 55th minute equaliser.
