M RICHARDSON (Letters, September 3) remarks how easy it was to drive through Darwen Street Bridge traffic lights in Blackburn, when they were out of action.
Does he ever pause to consider how difficult it is to cross those road junctions if you are a pedestrian when the traffic lights are not working?
