IN-FORM Accrington Stanley are starting to adapt to life in Division One of the UniBond League and will look to continue their resurgence when they entertain Eastwood Town tomorrow.

Stanley have won their last two league games with an FA Cup victory sandwiched in between to move towards mid-table.

And boss John Coleman is eager to make up for lost time.

"Obviously we want to win as many as we can now and I'm a bit disappointed to have given people a start but there's no point moaning about it. We've just got to get on with it like we did at Harrogate on Tuesday.

"I hope now we can get a bit of a run together. We don't want to get carried away but that's three wins and two clean sheets on the bounce now" he said.

Two of those wins have been away from home and Coleman is now looking to his players to build on their last performance at the Crown Ground, when they comfortably beat Netherfield

Kendal.

"It will be nice to get the crowd going for Saturday and if we play the same sort of football as we did at Harrogate there's no reason why that can't happen" said Coleman.

However, Eastwood will prove a stern test after they drew 2-2 at early pacesetters Lincoln United in midweek.

"I know their manager Brian Chambers very well and I speak to him nearly every week. They're a good footballing side and they will relish playing on our pitch. I think it will be an entertaining game" added Coleman, who expects central defender John Smith to play despite getting five stitches in a head wound in midweek.

Chorley are bidding to get back to winning ways at Ashton United after their five-match unbeaten run came to an end when they shipped two late goals at Gretna in midweek. However, they are likely to be without leading scorer Neil Mitchell, who has a hamstring injury, and Adam Critchley, who is also doubtful with an ankle problem.

Manager Ken Wright was disappointed with the way his side slipped up in midweek, but is remaining upbeat about his team which is among the top scorers in the division.

"It will be a difficult game. John King's sides are always strong and their players will be motivated, so it's another hurdle for us to get over.

"On the positive side we always look like scoring goals, and if we carry on in that vein and get rid of the odd error, we are capable of getting a result" he said.
