ROSSENDALE residents can do their bit for the environment by taking Christmas trees to Groundwork Rossendale to be turned into wood chips.
The chips will be used for mulching community landscape projects or they can be bagged and taken home.
Chipping takes place on Sunday from 1-4pm with local business Natural Organics helping Groundwork Rossendale.
Children taking along trees to New Hall Hey Road, Rawtenstall, on Sunday, will be rewarded with a badge and certificate.
