I WISH Blackburn would go back to the traditional pantomime instead of panto-on-ice.
We took our two young grandchildren to the 1998 panto-on-ice, and we found it too sophisticated. It was spectacular, but young children want slapstick. They want to boo and cheer and sing along and have sweets thrown into the audience.
I don't know what the 1999 panto was like, but while Blackburn holds ice-pantos, our grandchildren won't be attending.
