AT 4.30pm on Tuesday, December 21, my daughter and I were driving along the A59 on the busy stretch past the British Aerospace works at Samlesbury when we had a puncture. As neither of us could change the wheel, we were in trouble.
So my daughter stood by the car hoping that someone would stop, but cars sped past with headlights blazing, until a lady driver stopped.
She was so kind and turned her car around to go to British Aerospace to see if there was someone who could help and came back to us with one of the security guards who changed the wheel for us and refused a reward.
As we do not know the names of either of these two Christmas angels, we would like to thank them both and say how much we appreciated their precious help.
The spirit of Christmas is still alive.
