ONE of Clitheroe's biggest employers has been singled out as the best in the world.
In a survey by the Financial Times, 3M was voted the world's most respected consumer goods company.
The survey was carried out among 4,400 bosses from 75 countries. 3M beat Sony, Nike and Whirlpool into the coveted number one spot.
"We are delighted to have received such praise from our customers. It is all thanks to the commitment of the employees at Clitheroe and at our other sites in the UK and throughout the world," said 3M spokesman Tony Bellis.
