AN "habitual drug user," who stole a halogen lamp from a car did not know what to do with it.
Burnley magistrates heard how Stephen O'Callaghan, 25, realised the lamp had little value and he did not need or want it - so he just put it down and left it.
O'Callaghan, of Florence Street, Burnley, was fined £50, with £100 costs, after admitting theft.
Richard Taylor, defending, said O'Callaghan was now being prescribed medication and using it.
