A TEENAGER from Burnley was killed in a horrific accident as he was walking along a busy road in the Midlands.
Police in Staffordshire say Darryl Briggs, 17, was hit from behind by a cement tanker and then struck again by a Fiat Punto.
The tragedy happened on Friday on the A513 near Lichfield.
Darryl attended a special school for youngsters suffering from autism at Kings Bromley in Staffordshire.
His parents live in Allerton Drive, Burnley.
His mum, Christine, said the family was too devastated to talk about it.
