A TEAM of footwear workers have benefited from a European-backed training scheme.
Five employees at E Sutton & Son in Bacup have been awarded NVQ level two qualifications in manufacturing operations.
They studied for the qualification under a training programme set up by the 'Coltrain' project.
The project is backed by the European Social Fund with partners including Rossendale Borough Council, Accrington & Rossendale College, E Sutton and ELTEC. It aims to help firms become more competitive and improve career prospects of employees. received the qualification.
