Rovers' First Division rivals Fulham have signed FC Metz striker Louis Saha, 21, in a £2.1million deal.
Saha, a former French Under-18 international, had a loan spell with Newcastle United in the 1998/99 season and becomes new manager Jean Tigana's first signing at Craven Cottage.
