MORECAMBE motorbike ace John McGuinness rounded off a successful week at the Isle of Man TT festival with a fourth place in Saturday's senior TT.
The 26 year old, with one TT win already under his belt, was hampered when he began to run out of fuel in the final lap, but still narrowly missed out on a podium place.
He said: "We went for the one stop strategy rather than stopping twice like all the others, but it backfired because I started to run out of petrol at the end of both the third and sixth lap.
"Its disappointing because I know I could have at least finished second, but it was a gamble that we as a team took."
