DANCING duo David and Dorothy Ainsworth (pictured) have jived their way to success for the second year running at a prestigious competition.
The couple's Latin American "Jungle Jive" impressed judges at the Inventive Dance Competitive UK Association of Professional Teachers of Dancing event in Blackpool. Last year their Hot Spot Jive won first place. David, a semi retired barber, of Bolton Road, Darwen, said: "We were delighted to win two years running. The standard is always very high."
David and Dorothy have two sons and four grandchildren and can be seen dancing every Friday evening at Bolton Road United Reformed Church, Darwen.
