POLICE are hunting a man who held up a McDonald's restaurant in Blackpool in the early hours of yesterday morning (July 12).
The man, who was armed with a knife, made off with a sum of money from the till after threatening staff at the branch off Central Drive (pictured here) shortly before 7am.
Police are also keen to establish whether the robbery is connected to an incident that occurred upstairs around the same time, in which one of the doors was set on fire. Lancashire Fire and Rescue attended the scene but a member of staff had already managed to put out the flames.
A description of the man is yet to be issued, but anyone with any information can contact Blackpool police on (01253) 293933.
