DO you dream of being a top club DJ, or making it to the top of the charts?
Music-minded people aged 13 to 21 are being offered the chance to make the most of a new centre which is bursting with hi-tech equipment.
The music centre of excellence has been set up by Blackburn with Darwen Youth Service at their Training and Resource site in Manxman Road, Higher Croft, Blackburn.
It offers young people the chance to get access to modern music-making facilities and technology, through workshops and projects.
They are supported by professional staff, including youth workers and audio technicians
Young people can take part in producing computer-based music, DJ mixing, recording and percussion and meet others with similar interests.
Staff at the centre say the young people involved gain more than just technical skills.
They believe they grow in confidence and self-esteem through the challenging opportunities on offer.
