POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an armed raid at a Prestwich bookmakers on Friday morning (Aug 11).
Two men, both in their late teens, entered Tote Bookmakers in Bury New Road and threatened staff with a knife before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The masked robbers fled in a silver coloured Ford Mondeo. One of the men was wearing blue track suit bottoms, while his accomplice was wearing a red jacket with blue patches on the shoulders.
