LEARNING over the internet will be the focus of a major event this weekend.
Pendle Training in Nelson is offering free courses and advice during their "Learndirect" open day on Saturday.
Learndirect is a national scheme offering over 250 courses in a wide range of subjects from information technology to management skills.
There are also courses for specific careers such as retail and multimedia.
Learndirect uses the latest technology, allowing users to learn over the internet at home, work or at centres including Pendle Training.
"The courses are flexible and there's no need to worry if you're not used to the internet, we're here to help," said IT Tutor Ann Dickinson
Visitors are welcome throughout the day and Pendle Training is offering immediate registration and free courses. Call 01282 724200 for more information.
