BURNLEY went man-for-man on Taylor and Ketsbaia through Thomas and Cox respectively and neither caused a major problem. The Clarets were quick to get men behind the ball and looked lively on the break before playing a more expansive game either side of the goal

SET-PIECE WATCH

DEAD-BALL expert Paul Cook used one first-half angle to near perfection when he was able to sling a left footer right across the face of the Wolves goal when a touch from either of three on-rushing Burnley players would have brought a goal

KEY MOMENT

BURNLEY looked more of a threat up front when the pace of Branch was introduced and conceding a goal led to manager Stan Ternent throwing on Payton with Mullin for support as well. That was the Clarets' most productive spell in front of goal.
