Leigh East 42 A SLOW start for UG cost them any form of control of this game.
The visitors took a 22-10 half time lead, with UG's tries coming from Birkett and Blake and Glover adding a conversion.
After the break UG were still sluggish against a well drilled Leigh East side but recovered with more tries from Blake, Melia and one conversion from Glover. For UG Ian Penketh, Glover and Blake showed good form with Blake taking the Birkett Motors players player award.
