TEAMS of four are wanted to take part in a charity golf day at Grange Park Golf Club in memory of cancer victim Horace Ingham who died last year.
The event has been organised by Horace's son, Geoff from Windermere Avenue, Clinkham Wood and all money raised will be donated to the Cancer Research Campaign.
Scheduled for Thursday, September 14, with tee off at 10am, the event has already attracted 11 teams but Geoff is hoping for nine more to raise as much sponsorship money as possible. Cost is £45 per person or £180 per team and the price includes an evening carvery at Grange Park.
