SCHOLARSHIP students who spent two weeks in Turkey courtesy of Thwaites Brewery told tales of their trip at a civic reception.
The young people, from across East Lancashire, were chosen as part of the annual educational scholarship which has been sponsored by the brewery for around 40 years.
The programme has seen hundreds of local youngsters travelling across the globe over the years.
The year 2000 trip took this latest batch of students to Turkey in July.
They were welcomed into the Blackburn with Darwen council chambers to give a presentation about their trip to local mayors and representatives from the brewery (see picture).
