NELSON manager John Bailey says his side are only going through a "temporary blip" and aim to be back on the road to recovery in their Division Two game at Warrington Town.

The Blues don't enter the FA Vase until the second qualifying round so they can try and battle back in the league after a three match run without a win.

"Our problem in the last few games is we haven't been able to kill sides off. We've created loads of chances, not taken them and then the other side have taken theirs," said John.

"Warrington is a tough ground because the pitch is so bobbly and we will have to scrimp and scrape for a win.

"But Jon Irvine is beginning to find his feet in front of goal and the midweek draw at Castleton has built up our confidence. That was the start of our revival."

Carl Howarth will miss the game.
