ROVERS manager Graeme Souness will send his side out with the message 'same again' against Watford at Ewood tonight.

Souness was delighted with his side's 3-0 demolition of Nottingham Forest at the weekend and now he's looking for a similar attitude against Graham Taylor's highflying Hornets tonight.

"We get nothing for Saturday other than three points so we've got to move on and it's what we do against Watford that's important, not what Watford do against us," said Souness.

"If we play to our potential then we should get something out of the game.

"It's an important game for both sides but, for whoever loses it, it doesn't mean it's the end of their season.

"However, it's a chance for our players to try and put two good performances together which is something we haven't done yet this season. "Watford work hard, they are quite a direct team, and it will be a different game to the one we had on Saturday.

"So we have to make sure we are ready for that but I think we have the players who can handle that."

Souness rated Saturday's victory over Forest as his team's best performance of the season.

But he remains adamant there is still more to come.

"This group of players here can give more on a more consistent basis than we've seen so far this season," said Souness.

I think in flashes we've shown that we are a good team.

But in the periods of the game where we've not been quite at our best I want them to become shorter periods of time.

"You are never going to dominate a game from start to finish but it's how long you dominate a game for."

Rovers are likely to choose from: Kelly, Curtis, Short, Berg, Bjornebye, McAteer, Flitcroft, Jansen, Dunn, Blake, Duff, Broomes, Taylor, Johnson, Carsley, Ostenstad, Diawara, Miller.

Watford boss Graham Taylor will choose from: Baardsen, Cox, Page, Ward, Gibbs, Robinson, Hyde, Palmer, Nielsen, Mooney, Noel-Williams, Smith, Helguson, Ngonge, Easton, Foley, Perpetuini, Chamberlain.
