BARNOLDSWICK Civic Hall was a vision of colour during the annual flower show.

Despite there being only 20 exhibitors, judges still had difficulty choosing between the wide range of exhibits.

Show secretary Alan Greenwood said: "We have had a super show with a lot of entries at a high standards.

"I go to two shows every weekend and I have to say it was as good as any of the others.

"We had two huge tables full of pot plants and four of chrysanthemums, not to mention all the vegetables.

"The only category that was a bit disappointing was the floral art."
