ROVERS today quashed talk of a move for Everton defender Michael Ball.
A story in one of the weekend tabloids claimed Rovers were ready to launch a £6 million bid for the player who is thought to be unsettled at Goodison.
But, though he has been mentioned as a possible target in the past, manager Graeme Souness has now decided to turn his attentions elsewhere.
